Felipe Torres Urso


Felipe Torres Urso is new in town.  Fresh from Hollywood, he’s a director who's love for strong performances and character driven stories inspire him to collaborate with talented actors and content creators. Felipe has had the opportunity to direct Academy Award-winning actress Mary Steenburgen, "Girl’s" star Zosia Mamet, Miguel Ferrer, Thure Lindhardt, Camilla Belle, and Omar Sy, among others. 

Felipe's 2006 short film caught the eye of legendary director, Ron Howard, whom Felipe has worked next to for over a decade on films including: "Frost/Nixon" (which was nominated for 5 Oscars including Best Picture), blockbuster "Angels and Demons”, "The Dilemma" and "Inferno" on which Felipe directed a unit in Italy. Recently, Felipe served as AP on Howard's National Geographic's 2017 global event series, "Genius", focused on Nobel Prize-winning physicist Albert Einstein. 

Felipe has directed hilarious comedy Exclusives for Will Ferrell's 'Funny or Die', his short film 'Bald' was acquired by Shorts HD International, and his recently released UK mental health campaign Time To Change for Ogilvy has had a widespread reach on social media.
